Display The Sacred Heart Of Jesus Proudly With Items Ranging From Coffee Mugs To Catholic T-Shirts!

Between the years 1673 and 1675, St. Margaret Mary Alacoque received four visions from the Sacred Heart of Jesus in which Our Lord asked for the spread of devotion to His Sacred Heart and the fulfillment of certain devotional practices. In return, He gave 12 promises to those who would fulfill these acts of devotion.

The 12 promises are as follows:

1. "I will give them all the graces necessary in their state of life.
2. I will establish peace in their homes.
3. I will comfort them in all their afflictions.
4. I will be their secure refuge during life, and above all, in death.
5. I will bestow abundant blessings upon all their undertakings.
6. Sinners will find in my Heart the source and infinite ocean of mercy.
7. Lukewarm souls shall become fervent.
8. Fervent souls shall quickly mount to high perfection.
9. I will bless every place in which an image of my Heart is exposed and honored. 
10. I will give to priests the gift of touching the most hardened hearts.
11. Those who shall promote this devotion shall have their names written in my Heart.
12. I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment."

We are not at all left in the dark as to what we must do to receive the fulfillment of these promises.

First of all, we must receive Holy Communion frequently. We must receive Communion and go to confession on the First Friday of the month for nine consecutive months. We must do a Holy Hour on a Thursday, and lastly, we must celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart.

Praying and doing Acts of Reparation and enthroning the home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus are also highly encouraged.

June is the month of the Sacred Heart, so although Sacred Heart gear is of course good for all times of the year, this month it is especially good to have such items around. Sacred Heart flags are definitely preferred and there are several available out there.
