2024 In Review

It is the last day of 2024. Wow. Around this time we all look at what goals we met in the last year. Here are a few of ours that were written down in the first page of the 2024 planner:

Let's discuss this 2024 goals. We DID launch an e-course this year. This is a step by step guide which takes you through the movie making process so you can make your own low-budget productions! Would make an exciting addition to your homeschooling days in 2025!

"Submit" in bullet #2 means that we would submit the Fabiola Prison Scene to Angel Studios. As we progressed through the year, we realized that Angel was not a good fit for our project so this line became "Release Fabiola Prison Scene". We filmed this scene in June doing something that we have never done before: flew actors to the set!!! This was a great idea and we are going to continue casting talent across the States to finish the project. We released the scene on October 7th and since then it has become our most watched video with over 9K across three languages. We are also on to a happy start with over $11,000 being pledged in investments.

We had 5 out of 7 scheduled launches take off. These launches are 6 weeks of hype for a new product, movie or event. This year's included our Film Festival, our E-course, our Membership site, the Fabiola scene and our Christmas Special LIVEStream. This event is still forthcoming so stay tuned for this fun evening of LIVEstreamed entertainment!

We deleted the app in February last year and launched the new membership family streaming site in August. This is proving to have a lot more potential than the app and is being enjoyed by many more users! And the best part? It has over 20 movies not only from Industrious Family Films but also productions made by other studios and is fast growing.

Finally the get more traffic to our site part. There were several areas that we made improvement on in this field. We eliminated our blogger site and now all the great content is in one place on our "mother site". Doing this caused us to need to relook over our tier structure on the main site and that is still a work in progress that we hope to finish in 2025.

Collectively we wrote 12 guest posts and articles. These help us because after someone reads our articles they usually follow the link to our site which sometimes makes them fans and they follow what we are up to. Kathleen and Fausitna's work can be found on LIFESITE and my articles can be found on 1Peter5.

We DID get more followers on our social media platforms and almost doubled our newsletter subscribers! Across all platforms we now have over 1300 followers! Major improvement in this area.

That is a wrap on this year. I'd say that we got a lot done. Our 2024 word of the year was kaizenwhich means "ever better or ever onward" and I say that we did just that. We will see what 2025 has in store for us.
